When over one hundred thousand fans gather at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN this weekend to watch the New England Patriots and New York Giants battle it out at Super Bowl XLVI creating over 200 tons of litter, look for the MADVAC LR50 Compact Litter Collector!
The high-powered compact unit, manufactured by Exprolink Inc., a Montreal-based equipments, parts and service supplier for international solid waste and public works industries, will be seen circling the stadium and walkways of Lucas Oil Stadium on February 5th, doing what it does best; collecting trash and litter.
During the four-hour Super Bowl, the compact LR50, which can collect almost 400 pounds an hour, will have picked up almost a ton of recyclable material such as paper cups, cans, bottles and plastic bags. After the last of the fans has left the stadium, the LR50 will still be collecting tons more litter and trash which will be sent to a material recovery plant where it will be reprocessed
